Chakra (cakra in Sanskrit) means “wheel” and refers to energy points in your body. Spinning disks of energy that should stay “open” and aligned, as they correspond to bundles of nerves, major organs, and areas of our energetic body that affect our emotional and physical well-being.
There are seven main chakras that run along your spine and each has a corresponding number, name, color, specific area of the spine from the sacrum to the crown of the head, and health focus.

Meet Alisa
& what chakra healing means to her
I’m 37 years old, part of an amazing joint-family where I’m a mom to 4 wonderful kids, we love cats, live in the beautiful PNW, the great outdoors is our jam, we have the cutest VW Bus, and endless amount of love for our family & friends.
3 years ago, I had a heart attack. It’s pretty crazy for me to even be typing that out and to be seeing it…But its my reality and what changed my life. After experience something like that, you have your typical, “I could have died moment”, and I never wanted to have that again.
Thats when YOGA & CHAKRAS really became important to me. I started listening to my body, working on what it needs, meditating on a regular basis, healthy eating, and balancing my chakras.
I signed up during the pandemic to get my 200 HR YTT all while home-schooling 4 kids & nannying. I completed my hours in February of 2021 and followed it with a course on Chakras through the The Kaivalya Yoga Method.
Through yoga & chakra healing, I have learned so much and feel more grounded, confident, stronger, happier, balanced, & healthier than ever.
